The creator and work get a clear record.
Identity, contributors, Recording DNA™, credits, provenance, and rights context are organized around the creative work.

A portable way for creative work to carry who made it, how it was made, what is attached to it, and what the current permissions say.
Think of UP3™ like a passport for a song or other creative asset. Instead of identity, credits, provenance, permissions, and integrity living in separate places, a compatible system can read the same structured record as the work moves.
AI Artist Hub™ is the founding registered implementer. Creators establish the artist and recording record here; UP3™ makes that context portable. The deeper technical specification still exists below for anyone who needs it.
Identity, contributors, Recording DNA™, credits, provenance, and rights context are organized around the creative work.
A UP3™ Passport can carry that context with the asset instead of leaving the story behind in one platform.
Readers can inspect supported structure, integrity information, permissions, and current resolver state without rewriting the historical record.
For technical readers: UP3™ separates the historical Passport record, the portable package, and live permission or resolver state so one cannot silently rewrite another.
What it isA public platform record connecting a creator profile to the registered account that controls it.
Why it existsIt establishes the accountable creator entry point for the trust chain without claiming government identity verification.
Next connectionConnects the controlling creator to one or more AI artist identities.
What it isA stable AI artist identity associated with its creator or controlling entity inside AI Artist Hub™.
Why it existsPersistent identity lets recordings, credits, declarations, and commerce reference the same artist over time.
Next connectionConnects the AI artist identity to origin records and recording-level provenance.
What it isA structured creator declaration describing how a recording was made, including human and AI contributions.
Why it existsCreation-method transparency is more useful when it travels with the recording instead of living in a caption.
Next connectionSupplies the creation context used alongside song credits and disclosure fields.
What it isContributor names, roles, contribution records, and verification states attached to a canonical song identity.
Why it existsCreators, collaborators, and downstream businesses need a clear account of who contributed what.
Next connectionFeeds rights declarations, licensing review, attribution, and public verification.
What it isTime-stamped platform records of creator account control and ownership declarations for an AI artist identity.
Why it existsA transparent declaration creates a durable reference point while preserving room for third-party claims and legal review.
Next connectionConnects the AI artist identity to rights records and commercial permissions.
What it isStructured declarations for rights, permissions, restrictions, licensing posture, and supporting references.
Why it existsCommerce systems need machine-readable rights context, not assumptions based on where a song was uploaded.
Next connectionSupports licensing, distribution, publishing, and direct-commerce decisions.
What it isA reusable record of contributors, roles, confirmation states, and linked song participation.
Why it existsConsistent contributor data reduces missing credits and makes attribution portable across the catalog.
Next connectionLinks verified or declared contributors to credits and rights workflows.
What it isStandardized disclosure fields describing whether a recording is AI generated, AI assisted, or created through a mixed workflow.
Why it existsClear labels help listeners and partners understand the record without collapsing every AI workflow into one category.
Next connectionTravels with metadata into public verification and downstream commerce.
What it isA privacy-safe public page and QR destination for inspecting the current status of an issued platform record.
Why it existsTrust becomes useful when anyone can inspect the same record and its limitations without an AI Artist Hub account.
Next connectionCloses the loop for fans, platforms, distributors, licensors, and other partners.
The Passport carries structured identity, relationships, assets, ingredients, contributions, provenance events, permissions, credentials, evidence, external mappings, transparency data and integrity relationships. AI Artist Hub maps its SongIdentity, Recording DNA™, credits and rights records into this portable trust object.
The current reference implementation supports native audio/MP3 packages. A compatible Reader can extract supported bound audio, compare the package-declared media hash, evaluate permissions and authorize supported protected playback. Image and video package payloads are architectural directions, not claimed as implemented in the current reference build.
Resolver and permission state may change without rewriting historical provenance. A Reader-observed or hash-matched record confirms what the Reader actually observed; it does not independently authenticate an issuer, create legal ownership, or silently upgrade a trust state.
CREATOR_DECLARED — Information asserted by a creator or authorized participant. No independent verification is implied.
SYSTEM_OBSERVED — Information observed or recorded by a system process. Observation is not external verification.
EXTERNALLY_VERIFIED — Information independently verified through an external process or authority within a defined scope.
No silent trust escalation: CREATOR_DECLARED and SYSTEM_OBSERVED never magically become EXTERNALLY_VERIFIED.
Creators can work with the traditional industry or go directly to the world without abandoning a consistent trust record.
AI Artist Hub can issue a two-sided Passport from canonical song records and package the same trust context into a native .up3 audio container. In the current reference implementation, the work itself can travel as a bound playable MP3 alongside Passport data, visual surfaces, provenance references, permissions, credentials and integrity relationships.
The creator presses UP3™ on an eligible recording. AI Artist Hub derives the passport from canonical SongIdentity, Recording DNA™, contributors, rights, permissions, and active provenance credentials.
The Passport opens as an issued front and artist-identity back. Its visual surfaces are presentation of the same portable record; displaying them does not alter the Passport data, package hash, media or issuance history.
A compatible UP3 Reader can inspect the Passport, recognize supported native package structure, compare declared media integrity, evaluate permissions and—when authorized—play supported protected audio from the package.
The live resolver exposes current Passport state and integrity references separately from frozen history. Current permission can change; the historical provenance record is not silently rewritten.
AI Artist Hub™ → UP3™ Passport / native .up3 package → compatible Reader / UP3 Lab → structural inspection, media-hash comparison, permission evaluation and supported playback.
AI Artist Hub recommends UP3 Protected™ for creator-owned music because supported media can remain inside the protected package and require an authorized playback path. UP3 Open™ remains available when a creator wants provenance portability without protected-payload enforcement.

QR destinations resolve to the canonical public page or issued public record. Verification pages disclose current status and the exact limits of the platform record.
AI Artist Hub™ is the creator-side operating implementation of UP3™.
AI Artist Hub establishes the creator, artist, song, Recording DNA™, credits, rights and provenance records.
UP3 packages that trust context into a portable Passport so compatible systems can interpret it without silently changing what the record means.
The artist moves. The work moves. The trust moves with them.
UP3 v0.1 is frozen rather than silently rewritten. AI Artist Hub can evolve its implementation, native package profiles, Reader workflows and integrations while the published protocol version remains a stable reference. Material protocol-model changes belong in explicit later versions with compatibility guidance.
